Waldport is a city in Lincoln County, Oregon, United States. The population was 2,050 at the 2000 census.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 6.7 km (2.6 mi). 5.5 km (2.1 mi) of it is land and 1.2 km (0.4 mi) of it (17.31%) is water.

As of the censusGR2 of 2000, there were 2,050 people, 909 households, and 540 families residing in the city. The population density was 369.9/km (956.8/mi). There were 1,099 housing units at an average density of 198.3/km (513.0/mi). The racial makeup of the city was 93.41% White, 0.10% African American, 2.20% Native American, 1.17% Asian, 0.10% Pacific Islander, 0.34% from other races, and 2.68% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 3.71% of the population.

There were 909 households out of which 23.8% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 44.2% were married couples living together, 12.2% had a female householder with no husband present, and 40.5% were non-families. 34.0% of all households were made up of individuals and 17.2% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.24 and the average family size was 2.81.
